More than 150 fully furnished single rooms in three-person shared flats right next to the campus – exclusively for SKHM students.

Facilities, location & good to know

  • Fully furnished single rooms: desk, bed, wardrobe and chair
  • Shared kitchen with induction hob, oven and tableware
  • Bathroom with washing machine
  • All-inclusive rent: electricity, water and internet are included – no additional payments
  • Location: Halle-Neustadt residence, right next to the campus (An der Magistrale 120, 06124 Halle)
  • The residence is open only to students of the Studienkolleg Halle-Merseburg, not to students of other universities or Studienkollegs.
  • The shared flats are either for women only or for men only.

Rooms and rents

Applying for a room in a shared flat

A room in the residence cannot be requested or applied for via the website. Rooms are available only to admitted SKHM students – in this order:

  1. Application in the SKHM Portal
  2. Certificate evaluation (determination of your university entrance qualification)
  3. Admission check for the course you want
  4. Passing the admission procedure
  5. Conclusion of the study contract
  6. Payment of the fee for the first subject semester
  7. Binding letter of admission – you then apply for your room in the SKHM's internal student portal.
