The State University Entrance Qualification Examination (FSP)
The SKHM's state FSP certificate grants access to studies at all state universities and universities of applied sciences in all 16 German federal states – in the subject areas of the respective focus course.
The state FSP at the SKHM is based on the Studienkolleg regulations of the German federal state of Saxony-Anhalt (StudKVO-LSA) of 15 July 2022 and the framework regulations of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education (KMK).
The state FSP is offered to internal students with preliminary grades from the first and second subject semester: written examinations in three subjects (German 210 minutes, otherwise 180 minutes) and, if required, oral examinations (usually 20 minutes). An external state FSP is not offered.
Anyone who wishes to study a programme for which their focus course does not qualify them can take a supplementary examination in the subjects of the corresponding course.
All subjects are taught in both semesters, assessed with tests and exams and count as prior grades in the state FSP. The oral state FSP is possible in any subject, in four subjects at most in total.
